14–19 September 2026
Praia do Guincho
Participants are welcome to gather at Praia do Guincho at 16:00. After arrival, we meet by the Atlantic Ocean among the dunes of Guincho Beach, where the landscape immediately slows the pace and offers a chance to unwind after the journey.

We begin with a welcome gathering at a local café. Delicious Portuguese coffee and the famous pastel de nata are included.
Our first painting session takes place at a viewpoint overlooking the rooftops of Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest district.
Plein air painting session: 4–5 hours
Evening (optional):
Free time and a leisurely walk through the historic streets of Alfama.

From the Cristo Rei viewpoint, we enjoy panoramic views of the Ponte 25 de Abril bridge, the only suspension bridge in Europe built by the same engineering school responsible for San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.
Urban plein air painting session: 4–5 hours
Evening (optional):
Visit the Cristo Rei observation deck (ticket included in the tour price), inspired by the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.

Museu Calouste Gulbenkian & Jardim Gulbenkian
A slower day dedicated to artistic inspiration.
We visit the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, enjoy a picnic in the museum gardens, and spend time sketching freely.
This is a pause day without a formal plein air workshop — a day for observation, inspiration, and artistic reflection.
Museum admission is included.
Evening: Free time.
