For the past 18 years, I’ve worked in science, innovation and product development for global food companies. Today I lead Life Sciences for a major food company in Europe — helping translate science into products that improve people’s lives.
But work has never been my only interest. I’ve always been curious about many different things — art, dance, psychology, learning, travel, personal growth, and the people behind these experiences.
And over the years, I kept running into the same problem. Finding great experiences was surprisingly difficult.
When I wanted to learn watercolor painting in Moscow, I struggled to find the right workshop. Information was scattered across social media, personal websites and random posts — you had to know where to look, who to follow, or who to ask. Later, when I wanted to find social dancing in Cape Town, I faced exactly the same challenge. Then again in England.
The experiences existed.
The teachers existed.
The communities existed.
But discovering them often felt harder than it should have been.
One evening, while attending a watercolor class in Moscow, I had a simple thought: wouldn’t it be wonderful to paint not only in a studio, but while travelling?
At the time, my husband was working as a guide, and I started imagining a trip where artists could travel together, paint landscapes, learn from a teacher, and experience a place through creativity.
So I decided to organise it. We invited the watercolor teacher, planned a route through Kyrgyzstan, and brought together a small group of people who shared the same passion.
That first trip became many more. Over the years, I organised creative journeys, met extraordinary people, discovered new communities, and saw how powerful shared experiences can be.
Again and again, I noticed the same thing. Some of the most important friendships, opportunities and turning points in my life came through experiences I almost didn’t find.
A workshop.
A dance class.
A trip.
A conversation.
A recommendation from a friend.
And I kept wondering — why is it still so difficult to discover experiences that can genuinely enrich our lives?
Today we can find flights, hotels, restaurants and taxis in seconds.
Yet finding a great teacher, an inspiring workshop, a retreat, a creative community or a meaningful experience often depends on luck.
FindYourDream.Space was created to change that.
I want organisers to be able to share their events without becoming marketing experts. I want talented teachers, artists, coaches and hosts to be easier to discover. And I want curious people to have one place where they can find experiences that help them learn, grow, connect, create and explore.
Because some of the most important things in life happen when we meet new people, discover new ideas, and step into experiences we didn’t even know we were looking for. I know that many of the best things in my own life started exactly that way.
