Potter's wheel courses in the Herefordshire countryside
Eastnor Pottery is the studio, shop and teaching workshop of potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams at Home Farm in Eastnor, near Ledbury in Herefordshire. They run small, friendly potter's wheel classes, from a 90-minute introduction to one-day and weekend courses, as well as clay modelling sessions for families in the school holidays.
Sarah makes small-batch slipware with a relaxed, playful approach; Jon makes ceramic sculpture and playful pieces you can shake, strike or even put in water. In the courses they share both: real wheel demonstrations, patient tuition and plenty of clay.
The studio shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–4pm.
